PRIVACY STATEMENT PERSOnal data

CE Academy (hereinafter referred to as 'CEA') is a Dutch company, with its registered office at Daltonstraat 25, 3316 GD Dordrecht and registered under Chamber of Commerce no. 58336613. CEA sees it as its responsibility to protect your privacy as well as possible and ensures that the confidentiality of personal data provided to us is guaranteed.

This Privacy Statement Personal Data (hereinafter 'PSP') applies to all courses offered by CEA. This PSP describes what data we request, for what purposes this data is needed and how CEA handles it. By registering for one of our courses or training, you agree to and comply with the contents of this PSP.

CEA, declares with a view to the Personal Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU 2016/679) as follows:

Relevant data
When you register for one of our courses (or have this done through a third party), we ask you to provide us with some relevant personal data. This concerns: First name and/or initials, surname, address details, e-mail address, (mobile) telephone number. Please note that for our course administration we use an online course portal to which students have access through a personal account. Voting students will receive practice and test assignments by e-mail, as well as invitations to participate digitally in 'knowledge refresher' moments.

Purposes
The personal data will only be used for the purpose of conducting course administration, including the associated communication. CEA does not use this personal data for purposes other than those described in this PSP, unless we have requested and obtained your express permission in advance.

Data sharing
The personal data you provide will not be shared with third parties. Our own employees are obliged to observe secrecy and will respect and guarantee the confidentiality of your data in all cases.

Access to and management of personal data
The personal data provided, as well as any e-mail messages or other correspondence with regard to the services provided, are stored under lock and key on a secure server for the purpose of possible future services. CEA offers its students, through a personal and secure access, the possibility to access, view and/or adjust his/her personal data provided to CEA at any time.

Retention period
The retention period of personal data is five (5) years, measured from the last contact moment and subject to the applicable legal retention obligations. However, every student is always offered the option to have his/her personal data removed immediately as soon as the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were provided (right to be forgotten). If you want to make use of your right to be forgotten and have your personal data removed, you can let us know via the contact form on our website.

Modifications
This PSP is aligned with our current training and education program. Any additions, adjustments and/or changes to our program may lead to changes to this PSP. CEA therefore reserves the right to change this statement at any time without notice.
